Clark Street Pizza Party

What could be better than an impromptu pizza party? Basically nothing. Thanks to the lovely ladies of 3S, Abby and Darrin, we had just that. Complete with homemade dough sized for each person to have an individual pizza, vegan cheese, onions, orange bell peppers, wilted spinach, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and mushrooms, beer, wine, and lots of PAMing. Nothing could make us feel more like we were at a Mary-kate and Ashley sleepover than this.

Brown Sugar Sugar Crackles

Amazing amazing amazing sugar cookies covered in sugar and diabetes. The dough was a simple store bought dough. Yannie made balls of the cookie dough and dipped them into a bowl of brown sugar. After covering each of the balls with the sugar thoroughly, she put them in the bowl and let them stiffen in the fridge for 2 hours. After the 2 hours we baked them in the oven at the time the cookie makers demanded and voila, brown sugar sugar cookie crackles.

Salami Pockets

The first night in our new apartment wouldn't be complete without creating something delicious and different. With salami and mozzarella being the only things in the fridge, obviously we are inspired with these pizza-esque ingredients. Though simple, salami pockets were the perfect evening snack complete with wine, boxes, and cleaning.
These pockets were made by putting slices of salami on a baking pan, covering the center with shredded mozzarella cheese and dishing into the oven until the cheese is melted.
